These terms of sale govern all sales of products concluded on heated-essential.com, operated by CALVET Thomas, sole trader (micro-entrepreneur). Any order placed on the site implies the customer’s full acceptance of these terms. They apply in particular to consumers. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
The site is operated by CALVET Thomas, sole trader (micro-entrepreneur), whose business address is 60 Rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 923 373 104 R.C.S. The products offered are those shown on the site on the day it is consulted, within the limits of available stock. The essential characteristics of each product are presented on the product pages. Photographs and visuals are provided for illustration purposes and are not contractual.
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. As VAT is not applicable (art. 293 B of the French CGI), the prices shown are final; any delivery charges are indicated before the order is confirmed. Heated Essential reserves the right to change its prices at any time; products are invoiced at the rates in force when the order is placed.
The customer selects the products, checks the details and total price of the order, then confirms the order after accepting these terms. The sale is final once the order has been confirmed by email and payment has been received. Heated Essential reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for a legitimate reason (payment dispute, abnormal order, etc.).
Payment is made online using the methods offered on the site, through a secure payment provider. Card details are transmitted in encrypted form and are not stored by Heated Essential. Orders are only processed once payment has been validated.
Products are delivered in the United Kingdom to the address provided by the customer. Timescales and terms are detailed in the Shipping Policy. As a guide: processing within 1 to 3 business days, then transit within 5 to 10 business days. Risk passes to the customer upon delivery of the parcel.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers have a statutory period of 14 days from receipt of their order to cancel, without giving any reason. As a commercial gesture, Heated Essential extends this period to 30 days from receipt of the order. The procedure and the model cancellation form are set out in the Return & Refund Policy and on the Cancellation Form page. In the event of cancellation, Heated Essential will refund all sums paid, including standard delivery charges, no later than 14 days after receiving the returned goods or proof of their return.
Independently of any commercial guarantee, consumers benefit from the statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Where a product is faulty, you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement (including a short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of delivery). Customers residing in the European Union also benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). To make a claim under these guarantees: contact@heated-essential.com.
